AFRICASCOPE: the most watched channels in French-speaking sub-Saharan Africa 

CANAL+ ADVERTISING publishes the TOP 10 most watched channels in the eight countries analyzed in the AFRICASCOPE study.  

Over the period studied, i.e., the whole of 2023, the most watched channel is CANAL+ SPORT, or more precisely, the combined audience share of CANAL+'s five sports channels is the highest at 8%. 

In second place is Novelas TV with 7% audience share, Nollywood TV and A+ share third place with 5% audience share, followed in fifth place by France 24 with 4% audience share. 

The channels managed by CANAL+ Advertising account for more than 50% of the audience share, and the top five channels, which account for 29% of the audience share, are all managed by CANAL+ Advertising, thereby consolidating its position as the leading advertising sales house in Africa.
