AFRIC’ART Progress will launch a call for projects on February 15

A few months ago, at the Africa Pavilion at the Cannes Film Festival, we met Bintou Faye, producer and founder, along with other young African filmmakers, of a unique association called AFRIC'ART PROGRESS, which works to promote the culture and collective of young African producers.

In 2024,  Afric'art Progress is continuing its collaboration with Pavillon Afrique and has announced the launch of a call for projects on February 15 for the development of feature-length fiction films on a variety of themes: crime, thriller, comedy, social drama, romance, action, horror, adventure, science fiction, fantasy, musical, western, war, biopic, romantic comedy, historical, and comedy-drama.

The selected projects will receive support in writing and production with the help of experts, and will have the opportunity to bring their project to fruition.

The association specifies that the budget for projects may not exceed €1 million.

Registration will close on February 29, 2024, and will be available on the AFRIC'ART website.
