ADICOMAWARDS 2020: the list of the 7 big winners!

The Adicomawards ceremony took place on October 23, hosted by Eric M'Boua and broadcast live from Abidjan. For the 2020 edition, Adicomdays once again sought to reward African creativity.

After more than 1,000 entries, seven big winners were honored at the ceremony, following evaluation by a jury made up of former winners and the public.

Here are the winners:

Food: Vanessa Kuissu Tabeth Mbialeu, who opened a crêperie called Mmmh la crêperie in Douala

Humor, sponsored by Gondwana City Productions: Axel Merryl Sofonnou, a Beninese video creator living in France.

Tech: Polus Agathon Koui. Blogger and creator of digitalman.blog, Polus Agathon is also the presenter of the educational capsules "2min pour comprendre" (2 minutes to understand) and a columnist on the program "Cmidi" on RTI1

. Travel, sponsored by AirFrance: Cheikh Moustapha Diakhate. Originally from Senegal and living in Paris, Cheikh Moustapha Diakhate is a trained statistical engineer and blogger/creator of travel-oriented digital content. #cheikhmyworld

Young Talent sponsored by CANAL+: Sehi Gael Noel, alias Segano, a young Ivorian YouTuber known for his humorous videos "Segano et Mariam."

ADICOM4GOOD sponsored by Migrants comme Messagers: Sandy Abena, author of Abenafrica, an Instagram account where she highlights Black history and culture through educational, lively, and impactful content.

Beauty sponsored by MIXA: Fatou Yaye, a young Instagram influencer and creator of the cosmetics brand Yafa Beauty.

Finally, the Grand Prix Coup de Coeur, sponsored by TV5Monde Afrique, was awarded to Méhlugnim Tchabou for his project "Les Zopitaux et moi," the first digital platform run by young doctors created in Togo.
