A second edition announced for the African Comedy Awards

The second edition of the African Comedy Awards will be held on December 17 in Niamey, Niger, to celebrate African humor once again.

The first edition was organized in 2021 to bring together the world of African humor and reward the best talent across the continent. This major event, dedicated to laughter, is organized by the illustrious Mamane and his production company Gondwana-City Productions (Le Parlement du rire, Festival Abidjan Capitale du Rire, Festival CFA, etc.).

Once again, awards will be presented by a jury of entertainment professionals to the artists who have made the biggest impact in 2022. According to Mamane, "rewarding the best artist of the year is a way of encouraging emulation in terms of quality and professionalism." The aim of these awards is to motivate the world of comedy. The media impact can thus enable comedians to persevere in the industry and become more professional.

The nominees for this second edition will be announced on social media on November 24.
