Mathias Léopoldie, Founder & CEO of the mobile money app Julaya, becomes the new President of French Tech Abidjan.
French Tech Abidjan is the organization that oversees the French Tech initiative launched by the Ministry of Economy, Industry, and Digital Affairs in Côte d'Ivoire.
Its main tasks are:
• Accelerate the development of the ICT ecosystem in Côte d'Ivoire and West Africa
• Facilitate the establishment and development of French startups in Côte d'Ivoire • Build bridges between the Ivorian ecosystem and other digital ecosystems around the world
• Catalyze digital, entrepreneurial, social, and cultural initiatives
Mathias Leopoldie succeeds Patrick Kouassi, CEO of Smile Côte d'Ivoire and Burkina Faso, which specializes in open digital technology and is an expert in digital and open source (consulting, integration, and IT outsourcing).
