Driven by a young, connected target audience with strong purchasing power, Global Africa – Telesud has doubled its audience in two years, a trend confirmed by Africascope 2025.
The channel now reaches 4.45 million viewers across its eight core countries (+62% vs. 2023). Weekly viewership is growing even more strongly (+88% in two years), a sign that audiences are no longer just discovering the channel: they are settling in.
In the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), its largest market, Global Africa – Telesud reaches 1.41 million viewers, up 85% compared to 2023.
The channel is particularly appealing to executives and decision-makers, making it an ideal medium for reaching the economic elite (B2B, luxury goods, banking). Overall penetration stands at around 18% and reaches 32% among executives.

Global Africa-Telesud's core target audience stands out for its premium profile, with a majority of viewers in the upper socio-professional categories and high purchasing power.

Global Africa – Telesud combines a dual impact in Africa and the diaspora: the channel has a 22% penetration rate in Central Africa and 13% in West Africa, and is available in France in all households via Free (218), Bouygues (703), and Orange (586) set-top boxes.
Global Africa – Telesud stands out for the attention and trust it inspires. In Cameroon, viewing time reached 72 minutes per viewer in 2025. For 44.3% of viewers, the channel offers "reliable and serious" information, delivered by relevant experts (46%). These figures confirm that Global Africa – Telesud is a popular, committed, and credible media outlet, offering advertisers a real transfer of credibility.
Africascope methodology: the study measures radio and TV audiences in French-speaking sub-Saharan Africa. It covers the capitals of eight countries (Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Côte d'Ivoire, Gabon, Mali, Democratic Republic of Congo, Republic of Congo, Senegal), representing nearly 25 million individuals aged 15 and over. The surveys were conducted face-to-face on tablets with 11,200 people between January and December 2025.
