TV5MONDE, the French-language channel, will broadcast exclusively from Monday, January 7, and throughout 2019, a new short program devoted to portraits of influential men and women in Africa.
Designed by the French company Onyx Consulting as a collection, the "AMBITIONS" portrait gallery offers a series of 60 exclusive 4-minute segments that showcase exceptional career paths that captivate viewers with their stories and convey a universal message of accomplishment.
The "AMBITIONS" program is positioned as a vehicle for promoting entrepreneurs, creators, and actors in the continent's development. Through these portraits filmed in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Gabon, Cameroon, Senegal, Ivory Coast, France, and Belgium, viewers will meet these men and women with inspiring careers, who operate successfully in fields as diverse and varied as the arts, finance, agriculture, renewable energy, education, cosmetics, and health. A true reflection of a dynamic and diverse Africa that is succeeding, the program "AMBITIONS" highlights personalities who are contributing to the economic and cultural emergence of the continent.
A new "Ambitions" portrait will be broadcast every week starting Monday, January 7, on TV5MONDE Afrique, on the Afrique digital platform (website and dedicated app), and on all TV5MONDE platforms.
