Burkina Faso: Orange obtains the first 4G license

On January 15, the Orange Group subsidiary in Burkina Faso announced that it had obtained the country's first 4G license.

The telecoms operator signed this new agreement for 40 billion CFA francs and for a period of 15 years. In the same vein, Orange Burkina has also renewed its 2G and 3G licenses (for a sum of 40 billion CFA francs).

Orange Burkina Faso is therefore the first operator in the country to offer its customers a 4G service, enabling it to maintain its leading position in the Burkinabe telecoms landscape.
