Abidjan, the economic capital of Côte d'Ivoire, will host the next edition of the Africa IT & Telecom Forum on April 25 and 26, 2019.
Organized by I-Conférences, Africa IT & Telecom Forum (under the auspices of the Ivorian Ministry of Digital Economy and Postal Services, and in official partnership with ANSUT) is an event entirely dedicated to the digital economy and innovation in French-speaking Africa. Every year, it brings together all the ICT and digital communities in the region.
To showcase Africa's progress in digital development, the "Startup Open Innovation Days" will be organized as part of the forum in partnership with Digital Africa, with the aim of identifying and promoting innovative startups from several African countries. This will be an opportunity for these young companies to share their innovations and projects in the field of digital transition with participants.
Karim Sy, founder of Jokkolabs, will be among the speakers at this year's event. He is also the president of Digital Africa, an initiative supported by AFD that aims to support African startups and encourage digital innovation.
