Fausseni Dembélé was officially appointed on February 6 as Director General of Radiodiffusion Télévision Ivoirienne (RTI), the Ivorian public broadcasting group.
A former journalist, Fausseni Dembélé previously served as Chief of Staff at the Ministry of Communication and Francophonie in Côte d'Ivoire. He succeeds Ahmadou Bakayoko, who had served as Director General of RTI since June 2013. Bakayoko is joining the private sector, specifically the pan-African industrial group Eranove, as Director of Operations.
Together, we will continue on our path with experienced women and men, but also with talented young people,"
