Radiodiffusion Télévision Ivoirienne (RTI) and operator Orange Côte d'Ivoire have just signed a partnership agreement to promote local content on digital platforms. The Ivorian public will now be able to watch all the programs of the public service media group's television channels on Orange Côte d'Ivoire TV.
"Today marks an important milestone. We have sealed a partnership that will allow all Orange customers to purchase special RTI internet passes
,
"
said Fausseni Dembélé, Director General of RTI. He added that this offer is a first at the national level and therefore allows Orange to become the main partner to offer RTI content on its mobile app.
Orange, for its part, wants to be one of the key players in the digital transformation in Côte d'Ivoire. Bamba Mamadou, CEO of Orange Côte d'Ivoire, said that "the conclusion of this partnership with the RTI Group is a great success"
for the promotion of local content and a must in an increasingly competitive and digitalized world.
With a view to continuing to offer its customers an ever-improving experience, Orange TV has also launched a new version of its mobile app, which has hundreds of thousands of regular users.
With this offer, Internet credit consumption is not billed for unlimited access to Orange TV once a subscriber has purchased an RTI pass.
