At an Africa-Europe conference held in Brussels on April 2, the agencies 35° Nord and Lysios Public Affairs announced the launch of a comprehensive service called Eurafrica.
Eurafrica is a Brussels-based consulting and support service dedicated to strategic consulting, government relations, public relations, and media relations. The two communications and public affairs consulting agencies, one specializing in Africa and the other in Europe, are pooling their expertise to build trust between private and public actors, their institutional counterparts, and African and European public opinion. Together, they will support international groups, companies and institutions, professional organizations, associations, and foundations across a wide range of sectors: industry and agribusiness, energy, water and the environment, logistics and transport, trade and distribution, telecoms, finance, education, media, health, the public sector, and institutions.
For several years now, we have observed a lack of relations, knowledge, and dialogue between African public decision-makers, companies operating in Africa, and European Union institutions. The year 2019 is particularly important in this regard, with the election of a new Parliament, the establishment of a new Commission, and the preparatory work for the negotiation of the post-Cotonou agreements that will link the two continents from 2020 onwards,
