CanalOlympia opens a new venue in Brazzaville

The CanalOlympia network now has a 12th movie theater, which opened on April 17 in Brazzaville, in the Poto Poto neighborhood.

This is the first CanalOlympia built in Congo. The movie theater and performance venue has 300 seats. Nineteen movie screenings will be offered each week to the Brazzaville public. In addition to the movie theater, CanalOlympia Poto Poto also features an open stage that can host other cultural events.

Brazzaville reconnects with the 7th Art

In 2016, CINEBOX had already inaugurated the MTN Movies House in Brazzaville, the first cinema to open its doors in Congo, 25 years after the country's theaters closed. However, on the official Facebook page of the MTN Movies House, management announced last February that screenings would be suspended.
