What is Afrofuturism?
Born in the 1960s and conceptualized in the 1990s in the United States, Afrofuturism is a cultural movement that has spread across the Atlantic to Europe and Africa.
In this new podcast entitled "Afrofuturisms," RFI highlights this cultural movement with its shifting contours throughout history and current events. The series consists of five episodes, the first of which, broadcast on June 3, will be devoted to the film Black Panther, released in February 2018.
