The 2019 edition of ASCOM, initiated by Ivorian journalist Michel Russel Lohoré, came to a close on July 4 in Abidjan. Personalities, companies, agencies, and institutions from the world of communications gathered for this 2019 edition, which was dedicated to women.
Women are making their mark in the African communications industry. To pay tribute to them, ASCOM 2019 highlighted women working in the field of communications from Côte d'Ivoire, Senegal, Benin, and Cameroon. Panels and feedback sessions were organized to highlight their professional careers. Anaïs Girod, founder of Gramica, spoke on the topic of "Technologies, purchasing models, and performance: the three challenges of purchasing digital advertising space."
The ASCOM Awards are also an opportunity to reward the talents and initiatives of various players involved in the development of communications in Côte d'Ivoire during the ASCOM Awards ceremony, organized by a jury of professionals and chaired by Anne-Marie Konan-Payne, communications expert and CEO of CICG.
