A few months after the official launch of the first French-language version of the international MTV Shuga program, the MTV Staying Alive Foundation, which is in charge of production, has unveiled the cast for the first season.
Ivory Coast is hosting this first version, MTV Shuga Babi. The series traces the lives of young people in Africa through poignant stories containing messages about sexual health with a view to influencing viewers' attitudes and behaviors.
Several Ivorian celebrities and artists will appear in the first season of the series, which is currently being filmed. Actors such as Ange-Eric NGUESSAN, Landry GNAMBA, actress and influencer Prissy la Dégammeuse, singer Soukeïna Alpha Young KONE, dancers France Nancy GOULIAN, and choreographer Bacome NIAMBA are part of the cast.
The MTV Shuga Babi series will also be adapted for radio and digital platforms.
