Digital Women's Day: call for entries for the Les Margaret award

Digital Women's Day has officially launched a call for applications for the 2020 Les Margaret Awards.

The Les Margaret Awards aim to support talented women in the digital sector and recognize one European and one African female entrepreneur and intrapreneur.

The last edition of Digital Women's Day, an event created in 2013, took place in Paris and, for the first time on the African continent, in the city of Dakar last June.

By 2020, the event dedicated to women who are revolutionizing the world through digital technology will once again extend its influence in Europe and on the African continent. The highlights of this next edition will be: a new identity, diversification of activities, redesigned experiences, and major new features.

With "Beyond" as its central theme, Digital Women's Day will be held on April 21, 2020, at the Maison de la Radio (Paris) and in July 2020 in Africa. The chosen theme reveals the organizers' ambition to go beyond generations, genders, and borders, beyond awareness, for a new, more inclusive approach focused on the importance of digital technology in the global challenges of the 21st century.

Finally, to accompany its internationalization, Digital Women's Day is launching Digital Women's Day to enter the European scene and continue its expansion in Africa. The official date has not yet been announced.
