The Minister of Communication and Media, Sidi Touré, has officially announced the date set for the switch-off of analog signals in Côte d'Ivoire, which is June 20, 2020.
This is a key date for the Ivorian audiovisual landscape, which will make the definitive transition from analog to digital terrestrial television.
It should be noted that of the five new television channels that have obtained approval to broadcast on DTT, only A+ Ivoire and NCI have officially begun broadcasting. RTI 3, LifeTV, and 7infos have not yet revealed any information about their launch dates.
Sidi Touré also announced that DTT currently covers 60% of the Ivorian national territory and will reach 100% by the deadline.
