The VOODOO group celebrates its 20th anniversary!

VOODOO celebrated its 20th anniversary on January 16, 2019, in Abidjan.

Founded in 2019, the VOODOO advertising agency has established itself as one of the leading communications groups in West Africa. Led by entrepreneur Fabrice Sawegnon, the group has diversified its activities since its creation in 1999, from communications to events with its SODA agency, as well as publishing, beyond the borders of Côte d'Ivoire.

The group's activities now extend to television, as at the end of 2017, Voodoo announced the upcoming launch of a television channel, Life TV, on Ivorian digital terrestrial television.

More recently, in 2019, Voodoo set out to expand its media offering by acquiring the Lagardère group's two VIBE radio stations, based in Dakar and Abidjan, through its subsidiary LARI. This was a key step for the group, which aims to become the leading communications and media group in French-speaking sub-Saharan Africa.

The group also supports education and training initiatives through a foundation created in 2017 and the Voodoo Academy, an agency staffed entirely by young people whose mission is to help brands stay relevant by implementing new processes and types of digital content.
