African Digital Story in Brussels on February 21

Building on its success in Kinshasa, Lubumbashi, Brazzaville, Cotonou, and Douala, African Digital Story, an event co-produced by Publicis Groupe and Kinshasa Digital, is organizing its first edition in Brussels on February 21 at the Africa Museum with the support of the Presidency of the Democratic Republic of Congo and CMCT TCG, the leading global communications agency in the DRC.

African Digital Story aims to connect pan-African tech leaders with the diaspora eager to invest or start a business in the ICT sector in Africa.

The aim of this event is to highlight the opportunities linked to Africa's booming digital sector and to demonstrate that, in the long term, digital technology is a sustainable solution for contributing to sustainable development goals such as health, education, and good governance.

"I remain convinced that digital technology will contribute to the performance of our economy, the strengthening of our social cohesion, the improvement of our performance, the efficiency of our institutions, and the fight against poverty," said Congolese President Félix Tshisekedi.

On this occasion, in addition to being supported by major players such as Facebook, Publicis, and Viva Technology, the presidencies of the Democratic Republic of Congo and Congo-Brazzaville, around 100 tech leaders will travel from across the African continent to share their experiences of African digital technology at conferences, workshops, and trade shows.
