Despite the economic difficulties linked to the COVID-19 pandemic, French sports equipment group Decathlon is continuing its expansion into African markets.
A few years after first setting up in Côte d'Ivoire, Decathlon is growing its presence in the Ivorian market with the official opening of a new store on June 16. The second store is located in the PlaYce shopping center operated by CFAO Retail in Abidjan.
According to Patrick Saint Criq, CEO of Decathlon Côte d'Ivoire, this new location was made possible thanks to the support of a network of local partners and stakeholders.
