To celebrate innovation and mobile applications and raise the profile of tech players on the African continent, the AppsAfrica Innovation Awards event is officially launching its sixth edition with a call for entries.
A true showcase for innovative Africa, the event is open to players, groups, companies, and startups that have launched a product or service on the continent. Participants will benefit from visibility among the industry's major players and key decision-makers.
Candidates will also be invited to participate in the fourth edition of the Africa Tech Summit, to be held in Kigali in 2021.
A total of twelve categories will be awarded:

- Blockchain Award
- Media & Entertainment Award
- Education Award
- AgriTech Innovation Award
- Fintech Solution Award
- Social Impact Award

- Mobility Award
Applications are open until October 20, 2020, and the names of the big winners will be announced on November 26, 2020.
