Senegal: Strong growth in TV advertising investment returns in August 2020

With more than 1 billion CFA francs spent on television, Senegalese advertisers returned to growth in August 2020.

Driven by major advertisers in the food, telecoms, and health and beauty sectors, TV investment jumped by 23.3% compared to the same period in 2019.

Despite this excellent month of August, which ranks among the highest of the year, the Senegalese TV market remains down 7.2% compared to the same period last year, due to restrictions related to the health crisis.
