IPTV in Ivory Coast: +33.7% in the first quarter of 2021

According to the Omedia institute, gross advertising investment by advertisers in Côte d'Ivoire amounted to 3.352 billion CFA francs, representing approximately 5.1 million euros. This represents an increase of +33.7% in the first quarter of 2021 compared to the first quarter of 2020.

It should be noted that the first quarter accounted for only 21% of the total for 2020.

Gross advertising investment continues to grow in Côte d'Ivoire thanks to the sustained presence of major traditional advertisers and a few newcomers, including the GLOVO delivery platform, which ranked fourth in the TOP 10 in March 2021, and Easy TV, the pay TV service resulting from a joint venture between the CANAL+ group and ORANGE, which ranks fifth.
