With RFI, Africa is getting into podcasts

RFI supports an innovative program that aims to collect, produce, and make accessible to as many people as possible short radio stories based on tales from historical heritage and contemporary imagination.

Thanks to the NGO Des Livres pour Tous, which collected stories from the Ivorian people, the sound designers of the Making Wave collective adapted 10 of them into 6- to 10-minute micro-fictions and recorded them with actors and musicians to create a series of podcasts: "L'Afrique en conte" (Africa in Stories).

Aimed at all audiences, these stories from the Ivorian heritage, which are also told throughout West Africa, are available in their entirety as native podcasts on RFI websites and apps, as well as on streaming platforms.
