And that makes five!
A few days ago, CFAO Retail inaugurated its fifth supermarket under the Carrefour Market banner in Abidjan, in the Marcory district.
According to its director, Pascal Bordeaux, CFAO Retail now has 11 Carrefour stores in Côte d'Ivoire, Cameroon, and Senegal, which also welcomed a new supermarket in July.
The store, with a total surface area of 750 square meters, offers more than 9,000 products, 70% of which come from Senegalese suppliers, while around 15% are Carrefour brand products.
It should be noted that the CFAO Retail group, a major player in African retail, has also expanded its activities on the continent under the Supeco banner, with PlaYce shopping centers and Carrefour hypermarkets, in response to the new consumption patterns of emerging economies, driven by a growing middle class.
