According to the Omedia institute, which tracks gross advertising expenditure in Senegal, Côte d'Ivoire, and Cameroon, TV advertising investment in Cameroon remained at the same level in June 2021 as in the previous year (+2% vs. June 2020).
However, the first few months of the year had been particularly encouraging, with growth of up to +43% (in January 2021).
Overall, the first half of the year saw growth of +4.7%. Cameroon has not yet returned to its pre-health crisis levels, as the first half of 2020 itself saw a sharp decline compared to the first half of 2019
