Radio Côte d'Ivoire celebrated its 60th anniversary on October 26 at the Sofitel Abidjan Hotel Ivoire.
This event, co-sponsored by Prime Minister Patrick Achi and Minister of Communication, Media, and Francophonie Amadou Coulibaly, was attended by numerous figures from the political and artistic worlds, media professionals, former journalists and presenters from the station, and a large audience.
On this occasion, an investment project to replace obsolete broadcasting equipment was announced by the representative of the Minister of Communication, Media and Francophonie.
To mark the event, Radio Côte d'Ivoire planned several programs celebrating the station's history, broadcast over five days, as well as events throughout the country.
Radio Côte d'Ivoire also opened its doors to the general public, with photo exhibitions and technical equipment showcasing its technical evolution.
A generalist station with a national and regional focus, Radio Côte d'Ivoire is headed by Ms. Saly Silué Konaté and devotes its airwaves to all genres of programming.
