Who will win the 2021 Adicomawards?

The 2021 Adicomawards ceremony took place on December 4 in Dakar, welcoming more than 300 participants in person and 10,000 people connected via Facebook.

"Our vision remains the same: to unite the African digital community and help Africans understand that by using digital creativity and storytelling, we can truly have an impact on our communities," said Kahi Lumumba, CEO of Totem Experience.

This new edition is the result of a collaboration between the Totem Experience agency and the Adicomdays team. For several years now, the agency has been supporting brands in Côte d'Ivoire, Mali, Benin, Guinea, Burkina Faso, and, starting in January, Senegal.

The team is set to unveil a study on employment in the African digital ecosystem as well as a guide to African influencers.

But above all, the Adicomawards ceremony is an opportunity to reward African digital creativity. For this 5th edition, the chosen theme was "Storytelling made in Africa." Here are some of the winners of this new edition:

Iva Le Roi, a young Guinean comedian in the "Humor" category, sponsored by Gondwana City Productions.

Les histoires de Nancy in the "Young Talent" category. A series of podcasts highlighting social issues.

Queen Serere
in two categories, "Fashion & Beauty" and "Favorite." She created Madeleine Coumakh, her platform for coaching, branding, and content creation services for brands/entrepreneurs/companies and influencers/content creators who want to improve their digital communication.

Adjaratou Lawani
in the "Tech & Innovation" category ." A young Beninese influencer, Adjaratou is the creator of #LinkedinAddictSummit. She is also a LinkedIn coach and speaker.
Rolande Sahgui
in the "Social Impact" category. A young lawyer, Rolande is a social activist committed to the cause of orphaned and disadvantaged children in Benin.
