Despite the health crisis, the audiovisual production sector in French-speaking sub-Saharan Africa continues to grow, driven by a new generation of talent, fueled by the liberalization of the landscape, boosted by the rise of digital platforms, and nourished by increasingly significant investments.
To illustrate this boom in the local industry, in our report "SERIES PRODUCTION IN FRENCH-SPEAKING SUB-SAHARAN AFRICA IN 2021," we have chosen to provide an overview of the African productions that have marked the past year and contribute in our own way to providing an insight into the creative power and potential of this sector.
The program descriptions also included in this report describe each of the series (synopsis, number of episodes, actors, directors, etc.) and provide what we hope is the most comprehensive overview possible of what has been achieved in one year.
