Following its Board of Directors meeting held on Tuesday, January 25, TV5MONDE is pleased to announce the appointment of Denise Epoté as Director of Distribution, Marketing, and Sales.
Denise Laurence Epote Djengué, born on November 22, 1954, in Nkongsamba, Cameroon, was the first female journalist to present the French-language news on Cameroon's national television channel, CTV (now CRTV), from 1985 to 1993. She then joined TV5MONDE in 1994 and served as Director of TV5MONDE Afrique for 23 years.
Patrice Courtaban has
been appointed Deputy Director in charge of Growth and Business Development
.
These appointments will take effect on February 1. They follow the retirement of Jean-Luc Cronel, who held the position of Director of Distribution, Marketing, and Sales for 21 years.
* The TV5MONDE Board of Directors is composed of representatives from the national public television stations of the funding countries and is chaired by the Chairwoman and CEO of France Télévisions.
