The Ecofin agency launches WEARETECH.AFRICA with the support of the Orange group

The Ecofin Agency, which covers news from nine African sectors, is launching a new platform specializing in digital technology called WeAreTech.Africa with the support of the Orange Group.

According to Muriel Edjo, editorial director of the publication, We Are Tech's ambition is to "highlight the impact of technology on human development and economic growth, African governments' investments in digitalization, the local and international players at the heart of this profound change, and the buzz of innovations addressing the challenges and realities specific to the continent."

The Wearetech.africa platform covers various sectors of innovation, including e-commerce, e-admin, fintech, agritech, and healthtech, and also includes a "Tech Stars" section that will gradually become the who's who of African tech.

For Idriss Linge, editor-in-chief of Agence Ecofin, "Digitalization, when well thought out and implemented, has the power to accelerate the continent's socioeconomic development by improving productivity, employment, social well-being, and economic growth. We must all contribute to this dynamic."
