After directing the hit series Invisibles and Cacao, Alex Ogou returns with a new series, "De plus en plus loin" (Further and Further). This time, Alex Ogou returns as producer of this new project made for CANAL+ International. It should be noted that the director created his own production company called "Plan A" in December 2020 in Abidjan.
But this series is also the result of a co-production led by Arnaud de Buchy, founder of the production company ACACIA Films. Directed by a duo of Burkinabe directors, Fabien Dao and Hervé-Eric Lengani, it took more than three years of preparation and four months of filming in Burkina Faso.
"De plus en plus loin" is a series produced this time in Burkina Faso, created by Ivorian actor Michel Bohiri and Adiatou Sangaré, both inspired by a report on the sale of black slaves in Libya. The series traces the journey of Léon and his best friend, who choose the path of immigration, both in search of a better life.
Today, this new series, which aims to raise public awareness of the scourge of illegal immigration and corrupt networks, is the 11th CANAL+ORIGINAL series created for the African continent. It is also further proof of the CANAL+ group's commitment to supporting audiovisual production in Africa, particularly in Burkina Faso.

The first episode aired exclusively on the CANAL+ Afrique Facebook page on February 28. The rest of the series will air every Monday at 8:30 p.m. on CANAL+ Première.
