On March 23, 2021, TV5MONDE and the International Organization of La Francophonie launched the "Fonds francophonie TV5MONDEplus" (TV5MONDEplus Francophonie Fund). The Fund, created under the auspices of the OIF and TV5MONDE and placed under the aegis of the Secretary General of La Francophonie, Louise Mushikiwabo, has benefited from new contributors since the end of 2021, namely the French government and the Swiss Confederation.
