NCI will broadcast the 28 best matches of the 2022 FIFA World Cup

NCI, the new Ivorian channel, has just announced on air that it will be showing Ivorian viewers the main matches of the upcoming World Cup, which will take place in Qatar from November 21 to December 18.

The channel will broadcast 18 group stage matches free of charge and in HD on DTT and on the CANAL+, Startimes, and Orange TV platforms, including all group stage matches involving African teams Senegal, Cameroon, Ghana, Tunisia, and Morocco, half of the round of 16 matches, half of the quarterfinal matches, the two semifinals, the third-place match, and the 2022 World Cup final, for a total of 28 matches.

As Ange Guei, the channel's CEO, said, "When you decide to get involved in a major competition like the World Cup, you don't do it half-heartedly and only broadcast two or three matches. The channel may only be two years old, but its youth does not prevent it from innovating and developing at a rapid pace."

This initiative is part of the launch of the fourth development axis of the new Ivorian channel, which is to include sports, previously considered the missing link in its programming schedule.
