For several months now, some RTS employees have been complaining about a lack of resources and expressing a desire to rejuvenate the channel. They have therefore formed a union, SYNPAP, which was officially recognized on Thursday, September 1.
In a public statement, the Syndicat des Professionnels de l’Audiovisuel Public (SYNPAP) announced that it had received official recognition from the Ministry of the Interior on Thursday, September 1, 2022.
The new union immediately published a roadmap detailing the tasks it will undertake in the coming months:
– Bring together unions in the communications sector
– Integrate regional concerns in order to comply with the principle of territorial equity
– Accelerate the signing of the decree on the financing of public broadcasting (with the main issue being the revaluation of salaries)
SYNPAP has already announced an upcoming meeting with RTS teams to discuss this.
