The call for applications for La Fabrique Cinéma 2023 is now online.
La Fabrique Cinéma, a program created by the Institut français in partnership with France Médias Monde, the Société des Auteurs, Compositeurs et Editeurs de Musique (Sacem), and the International Organization of La Francophonie, aims to promote the emergence of young filmmakers from developing countries on the international market.
Developed in close collaboration with the Cannes Film Festival and its Film Market, La Fabrique Cinéma selects ten first or second feature film projects each year to present and introduce them to the industry and its decision-makers during the Cannes Film Festival, thereby promoting their chances of success.
The call for applications is international and limited to 110 projects, which are reviewed by a selection committee composed of industry professionals (screenwriters, directors, editors, consultants, programmers, members of commissions and cultural and/or film institutions, both national and international).
Registration will close upon receipt of 110 eligible projects and no later than Thursday, November 3, 2022.
