RTI has three television channels, RTI1, RTI2, and La 3, and two national radio stations, Radio Côte d’Ivoire and Fréquence 2. Following on from Ms. Saly Silue Konate, director of Radio Côte d’Ivoire, and Maria Coulibaly, director of Fréquence 2, the director of RTI2, Ms. Kady Fadiga, and the director of La 3, Didier Bléou Tanoh, describe the main highlights and major new features of their 2022 program schedule.
How would you describe the specific positioning of your channels and who are they mainly aimed at? RTI2
: A channel focused on youth and music in 2018 and geared towards women, children, and families in 2019-2020, RTI 2 began 2021 as a mini-generalist channel with a particular focus on women and youth.
Bolstered by its achievements, its ambition for the 2022-2023 season is to maintain its focus on women and youth and attract more viewers.
La 3
: Faced with competition caused by the liberalization of the audiovisual landscape and the rollout of DTT, RTI sought to consolidate its leading position by expanding its content offerings through the creation of new channels. This led to the creation of La 3, dedicated to sports and music and aimed at its core target audience of young people and young adults aged 15 to 39.
La 3 showcases sports and music stars, immersing viewers in their daily lives, not to mention our mixed sports and music programs, etc.
What are the main changes to the schedule for the fall 2022 season? Are there any new programs? RTI2
: For the 2022-2023 season, RTI 2 is embracing innovations such as the premium health magazine "Bien se porter"

welcomes a celebrity from the world of music and/or sports, along with their fans and loved ones, for Sunday evenings. We take an interest in their career, aspirations, habits, etc., also on weekends.
As an innovation, La Belle & les Bêtes is
an interactive talk show with comedians on various unusual topics. It is a daily comedy show (52 minutes) broadcast live from Monday to Friday from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Still on the subject of innovations, we have two reality TV shows:
The first is La Voix des Etoiles
, a singing competition that this season brings together contestants from Benin, Burkina Faso, and Ivory Coast. La Voix des Etoiles
is scheduled daily during the week with a prime-time show on Saturdays at 8:30 p.m.
The second reality TV show is called Celebrity Moments Spécial Blogueurs
and is produced in France. Viewers will be able to discover the daily lives of Ivorian bloggers and influencers living in Europe and the United States, isolated in a castle and forced to live together for a week.
Fiction is not left out of the 2022 program schedule.
First up is Blue Demon
, a Mexican soap opera based on a story of love and wrestling, Monday through Friday at 10 p.m.
Next is La Reine du Flow
, a musical soap opera that combines justice, revenge, and love, airing since September, Monday through Friday at 2:30 p.m.
Finally, another soap opera is in the pipeline, La Seleccion
, a tribute to sports heroes through their lives and work.
It is important to note that during the holiday period, La 3 produced an Ivorian rap competition called Flow 225
, with the aim of keeping young people occupied in a healthy way and discovering new talent in this musical discipline.

: On the sports side, it is worth noting the acquisition of La Causerie d'Aimé Tchétché

These are exclusive interviews with former sporting greats: Doué Noumandiez (soccer referee), Alain Gouaméné, Ahmed Ouattara, Ibrahim Bakayoko (former international soccer players), Namama Fadiga (former international handball player), Yéo Martial (former national coach), etc., on Sundays at 8 p.m.

: We regularly receive the results of quantitative and qualitative studies from our department, which is responsible for monitoring and ensuring the quality of our programming. These studies are conducted by three nationally and internationally recognized firms.
We adapt our programming to the habits and behaviors of our target audience in order to better satisfy them.
