ÔBATANGA is the first series written by Henri Melingui, a young Cameroonian film enthusiast who has created and developed a thrilling plot with characters that are as fascinating as they are enigmatic. The talented Alex Ogou, who is already responsible for the previous successes of INVISIBLES and CACAO, as well as co-directing EKI, has enhanced the series by bringing his ambitious artistic vision as a producer and director.
Boasting an exceptional cast, the series brings together big names from African cinema and television to play characters who give the series its power and rhythm, including Sidiki Bakaba, Tola Koukoui, Mouna N'Diaye, Evelyne Ily, Roger Sallah, Bambadjan Bamba, and others.
