Côte Ouest Audiovisuel has just signed a contract with CANAL+ International for the distribution rights to the telenovela MAÏDA, a MULTICHOICE MOZAMBIQUE production.
MAÏDA is a modern fairy tale that tells the story of the young and innocent Maïda, who leaves her parents and her life in the countryside to live in a big city as a domestic worker for a wealthy family, the SITOE family.
MAIDA is a classic story that combines the wonder of a fairy tale with the social reality of a girl's education in Mozambique, making it relevant to people across Africa.
The series, filmed in Mozambique in Portuguese, consists of 130 26-minute episodes and will be broadcast on A+ in a few months.
The series began airing on January 17, 2022, on the Maningue Magic channel every day at 8:30 p.m.
