Sport News Africa launches a service dedicated to gaming

As announced a few weeks ago, Sport News Africa, launched in 2020, has announced plans to diversify its activities with three new services:

  • content syndication,
  • the creation of gaming platforms,
  • TV content production

Content production was the first service to be launched at the end of 2022 in collaboration with the Télé Congo channel and on the occasion of the FIFA World Cup.

Today, Sport is launching a new service dedicated to gaming. More specifically, the media outlet is officially launching its white-label game catalog for brands and sports federations.

According to the media outlet, the catalog will consist of:

– unique gaming platforms to cover major national or international competitions

– games completely customized to brands

– scenarios tailored to the needs of brands.

All these gaming services will be marketed under licensing or revenue sharing agreements. In recent years, the gaming and e-sports industry has been booming. While this boom continues, its economic model has evolved significantly with the development of mobile gaming, which attracts large audiences around the world. These audiences represent real monetization opportunities for brands.
