TIVI5MONDE, TV5MONDE's youth channel, will be available from April 3 on channel 17 of DTT in the 300,000 Mauritian households equipped with DTT.
To mark the 55th anniversary of the Republic of Mauritius, the Mauritius Broadcasting Company, the national broadcasting company, has decided to offer children aged 4 to 14 the opportunity to access the best French-language cartoons available free of charge on DTT: Passe-Partout, Loup, Molang, Les p’tits diables, La Petite Pokou and many more.
The arrival of TIVI5MONDE on the Mauritian audiovisual landscape strengthens the existing partnership between MBC and the global French-language channel. TV5MONDE has been available on DTT in Mauritius since 2006.
In Africa, TV5MONDE offers three free-to-air channels: TV5MONDE, TIVI5MONDE and TV5MONDE STYLE, as well as a platform, TV5MONDEplus, and a digital offering for Africa, both of which are 100% free.
