"Africa of Solutions" is the theme chosen by CANAL+ University for its new training program in the field of television journalism.
In partnership with Galaxie Africa, CANAL+ is using this program to train seven journalists or directors on the continent. Throughout the training, candidates will be required to produce a report that will subsequently be broadcast on the program Enquête d'Afrique on Canal+ Pop.
Here are the details of the chosen theme:
"Climate, demographic, and economic challenges… These are images that stick to Africa and mark the collective unconscious. And yet, many people are taking their destiny into their own hands and building a different Africa… Far from the clichés. What solutions are they imagining? On a small or large scale, who are the people designing this future? In a continent that is currently undergoing profound changes, you will highlight men, women, a group of people, or an initiative that offers solutions adapted to the challenges facing the continent.
To select the candidates, a jury of five television professionals will meet to choose the seven finalists.
