Cécile Mégie appointed Director of Cross-Functional Editorial Strategies and Partnerships at France Médias Monde, effective May 15

Marie-Christine Saragosse, President and CEO of France Médias Monde, has appointed Cécile Mégie as Director of Cross-Functional Editorial Strategies and Partnerships. She will take up her new position on May 15.

As a member of the executive committee and editorial committee, reporting directly to the group's President, Cécile Mégie will oversee cross-media cooperation at France Médias Monde in conjunction with the channel management teams (RFI, France 24, Monte Carlo Doualiya) and digital offerings (InfoMigrants, EntR). She will participate in the development of the group's digital strategy (offerings, media, and formats) and coordinate France Médias Monde's participation in joint editorial projects with other French public audiovisual companies, French-speaking media partners (LMFP), and foreign media partners (DG8).

Cécile Mégie will remain director of RFI until May 15, 2023, a position she has held since October 2012. A journalist at RFI since 1995, she was successively a reporter for the Europe department and then presenter of the morning and midday news. She was then appointed deputy editor-in-chief in 2001, head of the economics department in 2006, and editor-in-chief in charge of news in 2008. Cécile Mégie is a graduate of the Institut Pratique du Journalisme (1993) and holds a master's degree in modern literature and a bachelor's degree in German. She is also a graduate of the Cycle des Hautes Études Européennes de l'ENA (class of 2012) and the Cycle des Hautes Études du Développement Économique (class of 2008). She is a member of the Board of Directors of Reporters Without Borders, a member of the Board of Directors of CFI, an administrator and member of the IPJ Paris-Dauphine bureau, and a member of the steering committee of the Cycle des Hautes Études Européennes.
