IPTV Cameroon -21.7% in the first half of 2023

According to data from the Omedia institute, which tracks TV advertising investments in Cameroon, advertisers reduced their investments by nearly 22% in the first half of 2023 compared to the first half of 2022.

This sharp decline must nevertheless be tempered by the fact that January and February 2022 saw record levels due to the Africa Cup of Nations taking place in Cameroon: +125% in January and +74% in February compared to the previous year.

With 1,889,549,000 CFA francs, the first half of 2023 nevertheless exceeds the first halves of 2019, 2020, and 2021, which puts the sharp decline observed in the first half of 2023 into perspective.
