The African Series Night, an event organized each year at several African festivals by Patou Films Production, returns this year to the Ecrans Noirs Festival. The event will take place at the French Institute in Yaoundé on October 19 from 8 p.m. to midnight and will feature episodes from well-known series, as well as a preview of the Nigerian series Farin Jini.

The aim of this event is to showcase series produced by Africans. It was launched in 2013 during the Pan-African Film and Television Festival of Ouagadougou (FESPACO) and has since become a tradition. Patou Films Production regularly organizes this night dedicated to African series at various festivals, including in Paris in 2021 as part of the Africa 2020 season.
