Among these events, the Clap Ivoire festival dedicated to short films continues to promote local talent and finance creation each year by allocating a budget for the creation of works. And with good reason: beyond series, Africa, and particularly the French-speaking region, is experiencing a real boom in creation and production, driven by leading countries such as Senegal and Côte d'Ivoire.
Clap Ivoire is a short film competition and festival that brings together young filmmakers from the West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA) region to compete in the fiction and documentary categories. The 23rd edition was held in Abidjan from October 9 to 13.
