African Capitals – Lomé: Golden Djanea Award at the Douala Serie Festival

Jean Noel BAH's series African Capitals: LOME won the DJANEA D'OR at the last DOUALA Séries festival, as well as the awards for best set design and best sound.

This series is part of the CAPITALES AFRICAINES collection launched in 2018 on A+ based on an idea by Ivorian director Jean Noel Bah.

The concept behind this collection is to highlight the customs and traditions of a country through a series of 30 episodes, each lasting 26 minutes. A first season focusing on Bamako, Yaoundé, Niamey, Cotonou, and Conakry has already been broadcast on A+.

The Togolese version of the series, which won the DJANEA d'Or award in Douala, features Eloise, a businesswoman who made her fortune in the cloth trade.

It is part of the second season of CAPITALES AFRICAINES, which is taking place in Abidjan and Dakar (episodes of which have already been broadcast) and in Lomé and Kinshasa (episodes of which will be broadcast next May on A+).
