Lex Africana is the first CANAL+ ORIGINAL action series. It will be broadcast starting April 22 on CANAL+ Première, with one episode per week every Monday at 8:30 p.m.
This series, co-produced by CANAL+ INTERNATIONAL, KEEWU production (Mediawan Africa), and Shimazua entertainments, was filmed entirely in Senegal, in DAKAR.
It tells the story of a Senegalese architect who has been living in Japan for several years and returns to Senegal upon his father's death. While searching for the truth about his father's death, he finds himself confronted with a secret and Machiavellian organization.
Lex Africana focuses heavily on action, with numerous spectacular martial arts fight scenes. It is led by European and world karate champion Seydina Baldé, who serves as producer, writer, and lead actor in this drama directed by Lewis Martin Soucy.
