Ivory Coast: OM unveils its partnership with "Sublime Côte d'Ivoire"

Soccer plays an important role on the African continent, bringing people together around a shared passion. Many European clubs enjoy huge popularity. This popularity has not escaped the attention of local politicians.

In recent years, many African countries have entered into partnerships with these renowned clubs. The slogan created by the Ministry of Tourism, "Visit Rwanda," already appears on the jerseys of European clubs such as Arsenal, PSG, and Bayern Munich. This strategic partnership with prestigious clubs aims to attract tourists and investors to the country.

In line with this dynamic, the Ivorian Ministry of Tourism also announced in 2023 the signing of a partnership with Olympique de Marseille and its "Sublime Côte d'Ivoire" program for the next three seasons. The goal? To contribute to the development of the "Sublime Côte d'Ivoire" program through the French club's digital community. This community has more than 20 million followers. As a reminder, "Sublime Côte d'Ivoire" is the national tourism development strategy, which aims to make Côte d'Ivoire one of the five most popular destinations in Africa.

Olympique de Marseille has long maintained strong ties with Ivory Coast, thanks to star players such as Didier Drogba and Basile Boli, but also thanks to a large community of fans across the country. To illustrate these ties, OM has just unveiled, for the third time, a collection of jerseys in the colors of the continent, called "OM Africa."
